Radiography with Heart: Developing Empathy in Radiography Practices
This is a free masterclass for North West Radiographers and is one in a sequence of events organised by The University of Salford in collaboration with North-West Imaging Academy.
In the session we will explore empathy and how as practitioners we can use it effectively in our communication with patients. We will also explore the connection between empathy and emotional intelligence, considering how we can best use both when interacting with the patients in our care. Is the ability to respond empathically learned or is part of our nature and how can we apply it in various situations.
